In the Gospel of John, the Lord often uses the expression "I am." He says "I am the Good Shepherd," for example. Throughout this Gospel, Jesus says "I am" the Good Shepherd, the Light of the world, the Bread of life, the True Vine, the Way (Truth, and Life), the Resurrection, and the door.

This Vacation Bible School program is based on the 7 revelations of Jesus' Person and Work through these "I Am"'s.

Five lessons teach each of the "I Am"'s:

Lesson 1: The Good Shepherd (Jesus as Seeker of the Lost through the Holy Ministry)
Lesson 2: The Door and the Way (Holy Baptism)
Lesson 3: The Light (Law and Gospel)
Lesson 4: The Bread and the Vine (Holy Communion)
Lesson 5: Resurrection and Life (the resurrection of the flesh)
