| Why is there a need for a new Christian publishing house? | Pax Domini Press materials are written and produced by two pastors in the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod who are frustrated by the products offered by the leading Christian publishing houses. While many VBS programs, for example, have themes rooted in pop culture and tend to be light on content, Pax Domini Press products use no gimmicks and anchor the programs on themes from the Gospel. |

| What is unique about Pax Domini Press? | Pax Domini Press maintains high standards in its content, music, and crafts. The content does not apologize for being sacramentally and liturgically based. Nor does it shy from using the language of the Church. The crafts are designed to be made from durable materials like wood, glass, and cloth. The music is Word-based and has a traditional quality to it. As a smaller publishing house, Pax Domini Press can also give individualized treatment for its customers. We strive to work with customers to help them achieve a program which works with their resources. Our customer service, then, also acts as a consultation service. |

| How does Pax Domini Press work? | Pax Domini Press produces a self-production kit for each of its products. Customers will receive a CD with PDF files of student workbook masters with four levels: Level 1 (age 4-5), Level 2 (age 6-7), Level 3 (age 8-9), Level 4 (age 10-12). Most of the programs are now available in color, and all will eventually be in color. For VBS programs, they will also receive PDF files of advertising materials, and chapel materials. In addition to the CD, customers will receive a program manual with teacher’s editions, craft instructions, recreation ideas, puppet show scripts, and other items that pertain to particular programs. |

| What about crafts? | Pax Domini Press provides a "how-to" manual on producing the craft for a VBS program. Most craft materials can be purchased at a local craft store. For congregations in more rural areas, certain materials can be purchased through Pax Domini Press. Also, Pax Domini Press has craft kits available for purchase with some programs. |
